EDEN VALLEY DIGITAL            FOR FASTER BROADBAND

Eden Valley Digital formed to bring Superfast Broadband to participating homes and businesses within the  rural villages in the area of the Eden Valley bounded by Penrith, Appleby and Shap. Part of the Big Society Eden Vanguard Area known as Leith-Lyvennet. Many of our residents will be able to access superfast broadband by the end of 2014.

Residences In Main Villages of Crosby Ravensworth, Maulds Meaburn, King’s Meaburn, Morland and Cliburn are planned to receive Fibre-To-The-Cabinet enabled broadband delivered over the phone wires by the end of 2014.

Cumbria County Council has declared that wireless broadband is an acceptable solution providing that it is 24 Mbps or faster.  Reagill Village and outlying residences may best be served fast broadband by wireless or satellite.
